Diary
On the
21th of January 2004 I have left The Netherlands to live for two years in Zambia. I will work there as training
manager for the Copperbelt Health Education Project in Kitwe ( a NGO in HIV / AIDS prevention) (www.chep.org.zm). I am a VSO Volunteer (www.vso.org.uk). Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) sends specialists with a
local salary to developing countries to share skills and information with local organisations to
help to build capacity. I
will share my impressions on this website about my work, the people and Zambia. You can reach me via zambia@martinekoopman.com You can subscribe to a monthly newsletter. This site was originally in Dutch, but parts will
be in English.
